The Assessment
Take the FREE Sexual Integration Method Sexual Assessment Tool (SIMSAT)
The SIMSAT evolved from the various iterations of the original Discover Your Personal Erotic Myth Sex-Research Survey. The final IRB approved version of the PEM survey was used to gather data and insight for publishing my peer-reviewed sex research. Overall 10,000+ people took the original PEM survey.
Many found it a very helpful tool to discover more about the depths of their erotic pleasure and sexual fantasies, as well as examine the internal conflicts that may have resisted their fullest honest expression.
Now the original PEM Survey has been reconfigured and reintroduced as the FREE SIMSAT.
The SIMSAT shifts emphasis from research to a personal assessment tool for sexual self-discovery, empowerment, and resolution of deep internalized conflicts.
It offers a structured but flexible, personalized format to help you assess where you are currently in your sexual journey, better understand where you want to be, and create a path to get there, step by step.
The assessment includes examination and discovery of the depths of erotic pleasure natural to you, developmental and sexual history, as well as identifying internal conflicts around your sexuality that may have disempowered your authentic sexual expression.
The SIMSAT is a thoughtful self- inquiry, divided into 101 questions spread over 14 distinct sections, designed to provide you meaningful insight across the full spectrum of your relationship to your authentic sexual nature.
You might find it helpful to pause every 20 or so questions, to reflect on what’s revealed so far, take notes, or step away entirely until you are ready to take on the next questions. Before you begin, prepare by having a quiet, private space to work in, and prepare yourself if you are inclined, to do what you might to get more present, at ease, embodied and curious. There are some helpful guidance tools offered at the end that might help you step deeper into what you learned from your SIM personal sexual assessment.
“In order to integrate your authentic sexuality into your everyday life in a way that is in integrity with your values, agreements, responsibilities and relationships, it is also necessary to examine and address all the internalized conflicts that get in the way. This includes the fears, shames, traumas and harsh, internalized, moral judgments about your sexuality, embedded since childhood, that still inhibit or resist your honest, ecstatic sexual expression.” GF

The Research
Background of the PEM
The Personal Erotic Myth (PEM) is a theoretical model developed from over 20 years of clinical experience and peer-reviewed sex research. The original PEM survey was taken by over 10,000 people and used to gather data on sexual fantasy, authenticity, and the impacts of shame, fear and trauma.
The SIMSAT is built on that foundation, refined and reintroduced as a personal assessment tool for sexual self-discovery and integration.
